Fitting In - Standing Out

The school is designed to compliment its context through an explicit response to environmental conditions while conforming to the existing hierarchy of the surrounding built environment.  It compliments the surrounding buildings through a juxtaposition which draws attention to the similarities and differences between the school and its neighbors.
